Pines Manor hosting Hispanic Business Expo for 4 years in a row
Four years ago, the Hispanic Business Expo of Central New Jersey found its home at the century-old Pines Manor in Edison, NJ, and its heart with Joseph “Joe” Amore, Director of Operations.
“We started hosting a small event to network with the Hispanic business community and now they have taken over the whole building,” Amore said. “This year we expect 200 vendors and four times the traffic we had the first year.”
Joe has extensive experience within the hotel and restaurant industry in the US and well as abroad, and has worked in New York City with the St. Regis Hotel, its renowned former French Restaurant, Lespinasse, and the Pierre Hotel, among others.
“The Hispanic Business Expo not only brought us traffic from visiting businesses and exhibitors but also public from the street, people who entered the venue for the first time and was impressed with our level of luxury service at affordable prices. From the event, we have generated personal and professional business such as weddings, quinceañeras, retirement and corporate events,” Amore shared.
Although he personally is US born of Italian origin, Joe is very familiar with Latino culture. His mother was raised in Venezuela, where he has visited relatives. “The Expo is a true Latino party and very exciting event. The passion for food, dancing, and the outgoing energy of Hispanics as well as their professionalism in doing business are show-cased at this event. This experience is a “must-do’ for all businesses looking to connect with Hispanic markets as well as those Latino business owners tapping into the general market,” he concluded. “Come and shake hands with me personally at the event; you won’t regret it!”
